⏰ 09:00 – Let the Journey Begin Gather at our office at AsiaCamp Resort, where the excitement kicks off. Meet your friendly guide and gear up with essentials like camping equipment, sleeping bags, roll mats, water, and food supplies.
Complete your check-in at the Wildlife Department, then take a quick 10-minute boat ride to the breathtaking Canopy Walkway.
But that’s just the start! Set sail on a serene 1.5-hour boat journey to Kuala Keniam as you take in the awe-inspiring surroundings. Enjoy a packed lunch along the way to fuel your energy.
🌳 13:00 – Trek Through Wilderness Take on an invigorating 8.6 KM trek through lush rainforest trails to reach Keniam Cave.
🕒 15:30 – Camp at Keniam Cave Arrive at your destination and unwind as you and your guide prepare a delicious meal together. Refresh yourself in the cool waters of a nearby stream before settling down to enjoy a warm dinner under the jungle sky.
☀️ 08:00 – A New Day in Nature Wake up to the sounds of the rainforest and prepare a hearty breakfast to start your day.
🌿 08:30 – Continue the Trekking Challenge Set off on an 8 KM trek to Kuala Trengganu, where more wonders of the jungle await. Relish a simple but satisfying noodle lunch along the way.

The jungle tour was one of our favorite adventures in Malaysia. Our guide, Hafis, was incredibly friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. He shared many fascinating stories about the jungle, which made the whole experience even more special.
Spending the night in the cave was especially adventurous and an unforgettable highlight of the trip. Yes, there was a lot of sweating along the way, but that’s simply part of the experience – and once you embrace it, it’s really not that bad! 😅
We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique and authentic jungle adventure.

A unique experience. The guide is great and everything is provided. You have to carry your stuff yourself but its truly good organized. I just think I would not to it again because there were almost no animals, the jungle feeling is special but only activity you do during the day is trekking through the forrest. Just a few times the guide explains something but often you just cant hear it if your in the back of the group. Also you just absolutly sweat. At the end of the day even your backpack is wet. I never sweated that much in my life. If you think thats what your searching than its absolutly great thats why it placed 4 stars. Just not catched my interests.

Zan was such a knowledgeable guide, he knows a lot about the jungle, plants, animals and all is there on the way, this definitely made the whole difference! Very happy to have had him as a guide, and if you can choose I would surely ask for him!! The only downside of this whole tour was to find out that we paid more by booking online than anyone else that was doing the exact same tour with this or any other agency in town. I still don’t understand why online is more expensive, there’s literally zero advantage on that when it actually helps the company by giving them the chance to be more organised for the tours… anyways, this doesn’t change the fact that the tour itself was great, I would definitely do it again if I had the chance, but I highly recommend booking the tour in person in Kuala Tahan if you want to save money!!!

One we might never make again because sleeping on the ground in the cave is not the best solution for a good night rest but what other could you expect when you start this tour. Unfortunately we did nog have a very close group, but yet we still had an amazing tour guide hiking with us : special special thanks to Mr. Dean, he was amazing for Floris, Floris and me (Siem)! He had an answer on every question you asked him and loved to tell you more about the beautiful rain forest. For the website, it would be better to inform online that it is 2x 11km hike instead of saying online that it is 8,6km.
This 2d1n inner jungle tour is a tough one, but also a beutifull experience for life.

Incredible experience (beautiful landscapes, fascinating night in the cave and great organization) but we would have appreciated being warned about the difficulty of the trek (really physically and mentally challenging even though we’re active young adults). Also, our guide wasn’t very friendly nor empathetic when we were struggling, which had a bad impact on our overall experience.
Finally, it’s a great experience that we will never forget but we would have completely enjoyed it with a more friendly guide.
tour “inner jungle” is a great experience! you walk into the real jungle and sleep in a cave: sometimes exciting, sometimes scary. the plan we followed was not the one written in the description of the website, mainly yes but many things changed. also for some activities there was not a good inclusion. after all I loved it!
Mooie tour, goed georganiseerd, professionele gids en duizendpoot (hij deed veel meer dan gidsen zoals koken). De boottochten in de longboats waren een hoogtepunt, zo mooi.
Nadeel: wij zijn in de 60 en het tempo was afgestemd op 30 jarigen, waardoor we sneller moesten lopen dan we prettig vonden, daardoor veel minder genoten én we steeds achteraan liepen waardoor de groep veel moest wachten, en dat voelt niet fijn.
