Therefore, since January 2020 we open our home for clients ranged from the educational backgrounds (of school’s students and instructors) up to corporate members of institutions and organizations. Like the recent one, for example, more than 45 staff of Sinar Procurement Group Malacca are in the Asia Camp Resort. The program was held from 8th to 10th March 2020. Even at this hour, they are still at Asia Camp Resort for the closing event ceremony.

Pada 8hb March 2020 yang lalu, keluarga besar dari SINAR Haemodialysis telah berkampung di bumi Asia Camp di Taman Negara Pahang. Seramai hampir 45 orang staff dari SINAR Haemodialysis HQ telah bersama-sama di dalam program team building Sinar pada kali ini.

Objektif utama perkhidmatan Sinar Haemodialysis ini adalah untuk menjana kemampuan survival buat mereka yang menghadapi masalah kegagalan buah pinggang. Oleh yang demikian, selari dengan objektif, misi dan misi mereka dalam menghasilkan perkhidmatan yang SELAMAT, CEKAP dan TELITI, suatu program team building Sinar telah diadakan.

Agenda utamanya adalah…

  1. Merangsang komunikasi berkesan, serasi dan mesra di kalangan staff bagi melancarkan lagi servis perkhidmatan mereka.

The Mighty Mahseer Fish Sanctuary | Taman Negara Pahang National Park

The Mahseer fish, or also known as Kelah is the most elusive freshwater sport fish in Malaysia. The name ‘Mahi’ (fish) and ‘sher’ (tiger) originally from the Indian Gulf referred to as tiger among fish. They can be found in rapid streams, riverine pools or lakes of south and Southeast Asia.

Mahseer fish are known by their large scales, attractive body varies and potentially vast size. It can grow up to 250cm in length and 30kg in weight. They are edible and higher cost per kilo, as up to RM250 to RM300 per kilo. On average, a mature Mahseer fish can reach up to RM1, 000 and above.

Because of this, Mahseer fishing activities become a popular freshwater sport fish. Indeed, amongst the fans, this large fish is known to be the toughest to catch. It is now enlisted by IUCN as an endangered and threatened species of fish. Therefore, in Taman Negara Pahang National Park, these Mahseer fish are protected in the Kelah Fish Sanctuary located at Lubok Tenor, 20 minutes from Kuala Tahan jetty.

In Kelah Fish Sanctuary, you can have fun with these Tor fish. The activities involved feeding, watching their lightning-fast, and touching and swimming with them.

How to get there

Tenor Hole is accessible by a long boat ride from Kuala Tahan Jetty or National Park Pearl Pier. The longboat ride will cost you about RM160 per trip that can accommodate up to 4 passengers and two drivers.

Give your best shot!

Although this area is prohibited from fishing, there still an interesting rule to follow. The authorities allow you to bring back the fish, as long as you catch them by hand. Isn’t it interesting?

This is the time when many would give their best. However, catching a Mahseer fish is not an easy job. The title given as God’s fish makes many of us went back home with an empty hand. Indeed, you would go back with wet clothes and an extraordinary experience dealing with Kelah fish.

Knowing the National Park Malaysia | Your Ultimate Recreational Destination

There are top five national parks in Malaysia. Four of these national parks are located in Sabah and Sarawak. Therefore, Taman Negara Pahang becomes the sole national park in Peninsula Malaysia. This national park was established around 1938-1939 and previously known as King George V National Park.

Later, it was renamed as the National Park Malaysia after the country achieved its independence in 1957. The national park covered an approximate area of 4,343 sq km. It caters to three neighboring states of Pahang, Kelantan, and Terengganu.

How to get to National Park Malaysia?

The journey from Kuala Lumpur to the National Park takes about 3 hours through highways. There are 4 entrances you can use to enter the National Park: –

1. Through Kuala Tahan as the most popular entrance.

2. Through Relau River, near Merapoh, Pahang – which is also close to the highest mountain in the Peninsula, Mount Tahan.

3. Through Kuala Koh in Kelantan, which opened in 1995.

4. Through Tanjung Mentong which located in the south of Lake Kenyir in Terengganu.

Before you enter the National Park, you must obtain a permit to access the National Park Headquarters. You also need to declare your belongings as well as purposes to ensure the safety of the forest from damage.

Hiking at Mount Tahan | Exploring the Forest Beauty of National Park Malaysia

Mount Tahan has a height of 2,187m from the sea level and the highest point in Peninsular Malaysia. It is located within Taman Negara Pahang National Park Malaysia and popular among the local climbers.

With an estimated age of 130 million years old, is reputed as the oldest tropical forest in the world.  The title given to Mount Tahan has attracted thousands of environmental researchers, as well as climbers and nemophilists to the area. For the record, Mount Tahan is considered as one of the toughest hiking treks among the climbers, particularly in the Peninsula Malaysia.

In order to challenge yourself to climb up to the summit of Mount Tahan, it requires physically and mentally prepared. There are basically two routes or trails to Mount Tahan; either through Kuala Tahan or Merapoh.

Hiking the Mount Tahan, you need to climb and descend the hills, cross the river, cross the jungle, and stay overnight in tents for the highest summit of Peninsula Malaysia. As weather sometimes can reach up to 4 °C cold at night, it’s indeed testing the climber’s endurance physically and mentally.

However, everything will be a pay-off journey as you reaching the summit, you will be enchanted by the beauty of Standing Range. The view at dawn and sunset at the peak of Mount Tahan will become one of your precious moments in a lifetime.

As you walk down the trail, many rare species of flora and fauna await for you. Gigantic rafflesia flower and ticklish fungus and mushroom are line up along the trail especially the one close to wet ground and riverside. The journey also adorned with rows of bonsai trees as well as stunning sounds presented to your ears. It is indeed a tremendous adventure!

National Park Pahang Canopy Walk | The World’s Longest Canopy Bridge

Pahang National Park is another familiar place for Malaysians. As Gunung Tahan the highest point of the Malay Peninsula, this national park has become a place of attractions for thousands of tourists ranged from climbers, environmental biologists and researchers as well as the public. One thing that famous in here is the Canopy Walk.

The canopy bridge is about 550 meters long. The height is about 45 meters from the forest floor. It’s approximately similar to 15 storey height. The travel journey is about 20-30 minutes walking makes it the longest suspension bridge in the world.

Do not forget this!

These are the checklists you need to know before starting your walking journey on the longest canopy walk in the world.

  1. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to reach the canopy bridge by walking from the National Park HQ office.
  2. The journey to climb the canopy bridge takes about 20 minutes walking.
  3. The requirement enforces for a distance of 10 meters between individual to another for safety measures. 
  4. This canopy also limited to 600 visitors per day for safety reasons.
  5. The Canopy hours are from 9 am (every day except Thursday), until 3 pm (except Friday closes at 12pm).
  6. Tickets are available at RM5 for adults and RM3 for children.
  7. Get weather checks and updated. If the weather gets windy or rainy, the canopy walk will be closed for safety reasons.

As this national park is a home to 1001 natural flora and fauna, experience spend on the canopy walk will be a lifetime moment. Therefore, the best time to go for the canopy walk is advisable during the morning hours. There is a greater opportunity for you to see grey-haired monkeys and white-eyed leaf monkeys roaming from tree to tree.
